Every DJ knows how it is to carry a heavy record-box through a packed club to the DJ-Booth or even worse to reach the booth through a crowded festival. The solution comes with the new back-pack by Zurich based Bag producer QWSTION in association with the Drumpoet Community. Together they are releasing a stylish back-pack which holds 50 12“ records, a CD case with a capacity for 160 CDs, a laptop bag and a headphone-bag. The back-pack is designed by QWSTION with Inputs from the Drumpoet DJs and the result convinces with high quality materials and a luxury trekking comfort which is trademarking for any QWSTION bag.
The first limited edition of 250 back-packs includes the forthcoming Drumpoet Label compilation entitled “Drumpoems Verse 2″ with exclusive tracks and special edits by artists such as Manuel Tur & DPlay, Kawabata, Quarion, Agnes aka Cavalier, The Lost Men, Langenberg, John Daly, Soultourist and many more.

bathing-ape-x-undercover
An partnership amongst two old friends, A Bathing Ape and UNDERCOVER have seen themselves release products with increasing frequency. Recent releases based on a Jack Purcell inspired sneaker feature two similar themes of NOWHERE and LAST ORGY. The NOWHERE version features a subtle tonal gray/white upper while the LAST ORGY version comes in a similar pattern albeit black. The NOWHERE version was released as an exclusive to BAPEXCLUSIVE but both are available now at Bobos Shop.

MADE FOR SKATE: Millencolin Chukka
Back in 2001 Vans released their first ever Signature Band shoe. The first band was Millencolin, one of my favorite bands. Vans produced the Old School shoe with a Millencolin logo on the tongue and on the rear sole label. Through the years groups like Social Distortion, AFI, Jonny Ramone, Iron Maidne and H2O have had their names grace a Vans sig footwear. Vans has come full circle and returned to the Swedish brew of Millencolin. For 2009 the group went with the old school Chukka Boot. Sick. I wore Chukka boots when I was 12 or 13, a different kind of shoe but was popular back then amount skaters and BMX rats. My last pair were purple, and made in the USA. I'll be grabbing 2 pair of these for when the time comes when I wear out the first my heart will not be broken. Like it was when I wore through my 2001 pair and finally tossed them in 2006.
Here the Millencolin Chukka

Li Wei www.liweiphoto.com
Based in Beijing, China, Li Wei embarked on his project, The Earth. Born in Hohot, Inner Mongolia, the project was an opportunity for him to travel across his homeland and document the different facets of life there. It’s a curious place where modernity is mixed with traditional nomadic lifestyles. The project presents a whimsical look of life on the plains. Wind turbines and villages are found across a breathtaking landscape. While the project could have taken a deeper approach, traces of the diversity of mankind are deeply felt.

Shigeyoshi Ohi Photography
Shigeyoshi Ohi describes the experience of standing at the edges of these lakes as an agitating process. Beneath the serene surfaces lie one of mother nature’s greatest force of destruction. Volcano craters fill up rapidly with water when the volcanoes become dormant, resulting in awe-inspiring landscapes. Once harbingers of death, these volcanoes become givers of life, nourishing the surroundings with rich deposits of minerals. However, time and space seem to merge into the dark void, of which Ohi translated into a beautiful body of work. ohi.jp/

MODERN NEON SCULPTURES
By designer Roger Borg.
Artist Statement:
through observation and speculation i test the world and its workings. what is of paramount interest to me is its nature at the most base level. how circumstances arise. how sequences form and events unfold. how single narratives merge with others, giving rise to more complex interactions. how information is transcribed within the fluid column of time. how the present moment comes to be, and how it is continually steered into the next. at this boundary of present and future, possibility reigns supreme. infinity rules what may be. permutations abound. but beyond this cusp emerges only a single lone instance of what is and what has become. it is with deference to these thoughts, and within this context, that my work is born.

yo Yo YOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
C.O.G. A.k.a City Of Gods Skateboarding is our infant right now...
Currently its in its nursing stages, very legit paper work filled out and processed
Just waitin on that time to unleash it on the world.
City of Gods skateboarding focuses on the soul of man. That which is good for man is good for the soul alone. When you skate it feels like a blessing, releasing your soul from any restrictions. No matter where you're from, or where you skate, everyone is a God in their city. The ultimate good for C.O.G. is eternal life, happiness, and the everyday blessing that is provided by skateboarding.
Be on the lookout for dat C.O.G.!!!!!
